Rosemary Finneran

Rosemary Constance Finneran, age 87, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away on August 17, 2023. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 7, 1936 to the late Richard and Angela Crumley. She graduated from Holy Family High School in Columbus, Ohio and was a long-standing member of St. Brendan Parish. Rosemary is survived by her husband of 66 years Patrick Joseph Finneran.

Rosemary dedicated her life to raising her seven children and managing the Finneran household. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed family gatherings for special occasions and holidays, especially Christmas. Rosemary also loved animals, including her pets Ginger, Ruffy and Baby, as well as birds, squirrels and all wildlife. She enjoyed reading, visiting the library, watching Hallmark movies, going to craft shows and shopping with her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Patrick; children: Kathy (Greg) Woeste, Mike (Bonnie) Finneran, Tim (Stephanie) Finneran, Karen (Scott) Kennedy, Patty (Phil) Riebel, Dan (Kate) Finneran and Jim Finneran. Rosemary will be deeply missed by her 14 grandchildren: Michael (Susie), Bryan, Connor, Heather, Shawn (Miranda), Erin, Sarah (Javan), Ashley, Brittany (Clifton), Zachary (Lachelle), Megan (Emilio), Ellie, Theresa and Annie. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren: Jenna, Sophie, Winter and Hudson; brothers Richard (Linda) Crumley and Gary (Barbara) Crumley as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Angela; sister Dolores (Bob) Proulx; sister-in-law Mary Ann (Gary) Gilkerson and daughter-in-law Amy Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Schoedinger Dublin; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Brendan the Navigator; 4475 Dublin Road Hilliard, Ohio 43026. Burial will immediately follow the mass at St. Joseph Cemetery; 6440 S. High Street Lockbourne, Ohio 43137.
