Nicole Marie Deford

Nicole Marie Deford, age 42, of Powell, Ohio unexpectedly passed away on May 17, 2022. She was born on January 27, 1980 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nicole grew up in the Dublin area and attended Dublin Scioto High School. After high school, Nicole had multiple different jobs in the community and will always be remembered by her coworkers and patrons for always having a smiling face and welcoming personality.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor and Charlotte Deford and Eugene and Geraldine Kochaney. Nicole is survived by her loving daughter, Arya Yount who was the light of her life as well as her significant other, Ryan Yount; parents, Carol Deford and Terry (Glynis) Deford; half-brother, Brandon (Andrea) Deford; uncles, Rick (Jennifer) Kochaney, Kurt (Cheryl) Deford; aunt, Nancy VanMullekon as well as numerous cousins.

Everyone who knew Nicole knew her for her love of Michigan Wolverines football. She was a big fan and followed their games and players. Nicole had a love for all things Irish this included the culture, music and dancing. Each year she looked forward to attending the Dublin Irish Festival.

Nicole’s friends and family knew her for her kind heart. She was passionate about the things and people she loved and causes she believed in. She was a registered organ donor. In her passing she was able to bless multiple families with the gift of organ donation. She blessed others in life and in death.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to LifeLine of Ohio or The Cat Welfare Association. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27 at St. Brendan the Navigator, 4475 Dublin Road with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
