We so appreciated our relationship with Mark (and with Matt, Tom Estep, and the many other fine folks that Mark referred us to) and valued his guidance and willingness to do research for us and act as a sounding board for so many life choices for about 30 years. He never failed to mention his kids' progress and plans with pride. We were so sad to learn of his passing!

My mother and I are so sorry for your loss. Mark was our insurance agent for decades. He was there at my brothers funeral and we appreciate him so much. We are so sorry that we were not there for his service. We just got news today of his passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his family.

Just heard of Mark’s passing. To say that I’m saddened is an incredible understatement. I have been a client of Mark’s since before his uncle turned the business over to him — which, for me, has been 39 years. I am forever grateful for his servant’s heart, his business acumen, and his jovial nature. He is truly a blessing to all who knew him. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be the recipient of his gifts for these many years!!

We just learned of Mark’s passing today by letter from whom ever is taking over his insurance practice. We have been with Mark from the beginning of his career. We are greatly saddened to find out, he was a wonderful man and made us feel cared about in all of our dealings with him over the years. I'm very sad to read about Mark's passing. We were his loyal clients for over 20 years. At the time, he was the only agent willing to work with us. I will never forget that. He was a great businessman who made a special connection with his customers and went above and beyond with his service. So I can only imagine how special he was to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark’s passing.  I first met Mark when I was in the mortgage business many  years ago and had a client who raved about Mark and I of course was so impressed that I switched all of my personal business to him.  Then I told everyone about him.  Not only did my husband and I trust him with our insurance needs but we considered him a wonderful friend.  We will truly miss him.

To Lisa and family :    I was so saddened to hear about Mark.  He was my insurance agent for years but also a friend!  I enjoyed going to the office to give him my payment just to catch up on things and talk.   He loved his family dearly and was s man of great integrity.  He was always on top of my insurance needs and I trusted him 100%!  He went above and beyond.    I will miss him and our conversations.  Prayers and comfort  to family!  

Mark was on of the first people we met when my husband and I moved to Buechler Bend in 1999.  Right away he welcomed us to the neighborhood, explained the rules of "sharing" trash and recycling cans, and let us know that sometimes Friday night meant beers in the driveways.  Other than my husband, Mark was the first person to know that I was having my first  baby, all because I turned down his offer of a beer on a Friday to which he immediately replied "wait are you pregnant?!" :)    even after both of our families moved, Mark remained our insurance agent and our friend; he never missed a chance to catch up with us and never missed a chance to brag about how proud he was of his own children; he truly was the epitome of a good guy and he was larger than life; Rest in peace, friend - and  prayers for  his family 

Mark’s passing has been extremely difficult for me to accept. Mark was a big brother to me growing up helping to guide me from a boy into a young man. He lived his life by always doing the right thing which set a positive and lasting example for me. Mark always encouraged me to be the best I could be whether it was baseball, golf, or life in general. For several years, Mark hosted a golf outing on Memorial and Labor Day weekends always inviting me for which I am so grateful. He welcomed me amongst his closest friends calling me his brother. I can’t tell you how much that means to me. When I got to the course, Mark would always have something great to say about me by overexaggerating my golf game. But that is who he was, he made you feel better about yourself with his positivity. Mark’s love of life was infectious and is a reason why he was loved by so many. I bet Mark and his larger-than-life personality are up in Heaven now, organizing a golf outing using a bullhorn!

So sorry to hear about Mark's death. He was our insurance man for over 30 years. He was a wonderful agent and a great family man he was so proud of his wife and kids. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to Mark's family and friends. Rest in peace. 

I first met Mark in May of 2017 when, thanks to another very good friend, Mark invited me to join his Sunday morning golf group.  Mark did not know me at all, but he made me feel comfortable immediately.  Thanks to him, I now have dozens more very good friends, something for which I will be eternally grateful.  Golf was the common denominator for us.  Whenever I showed up at the course, I was always greeted with "RICK!" in his projecting voice.  Mark lit up the golf course, not only with his personality, but literally…like the time he drove out to the middle of the first fairway on an extremely foggy morning and used his phone flashlight to show us what direction to hit .  Only Mark would do that.  Weekend golf has not and will never be the same without Mark's humor and candor.  I, like so many others, will miss him.  R.I.P. my friend.
