Evelyn Marie Bedell

She was born on October 24, 1921 in Cannonsburg, PA the daughter of the late Henry and Luella (Dolby) Ledger. On June 3, 1944 she married Cullen R. Bedell, who passed away November 19, 2007.

Evelyn attended Sandy Township High School. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

She worked as a supervisor at Cameron Manufacturing Company in Reynoldsville and Shortway Products in Clearfield.

She was an avid shopper always buying gifts for others, her family would often refer to her as a “Molly”. She also enjoyed decorating and caring for her home, but above all she enjoyed being with her family.

Evelyn is survived by her son Bradley and his wife Leah Bedell of DuBois and a daughter-in-law Beverly Ledger of Luthersburg; four grandchildren: Jeannie Dunworth, Debbie Ledger, Joann Tudor and James Tudor Jr; five great-grandchildren: Pamela (Kip) Null, Daniele (Mike) Hoare, Jim Dunworth, Krysta Tudor and Eric Tudor; and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, James C.Ledger and a daughter, Coleen Tudor; five brothers: Henry, James, Willaim, John and George Ledger and five sisters: Grace Bogle, Alda Arcure, Ruth Gamber, Ida Hand and Agnes Holes. She was the last member of her immediate family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Rev. David Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 1:00 until 4:00pm on Saturday, August 6 at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Sunday from 1:00pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
