Born in DuBois on December 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Alda M. (King) Lininger. Anna was a DuBois Area High school graduate and was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren in Rockton. She was employed with DuBois Regional Medical Center as a receptionist. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Anna is survived by one son, Timothy Ellinger of Rockton; two daughters, Naomi Aaron of DuBois and Roxanne Kressley and her husband, David of Home; five grandchildren, Holly Anne Trusch, Elise Shute, Vincent Aaron, Hunter Spencer, and Blaise Ellinger; two great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Charlotte Trusch; two brothers, Bill Lininger of Wyoming and James Lininger and his wife, Linda of Texas; and two sisters, Susan Pearce and her husband, Ralph of Oklahoma and Alice Saunders of Rockton.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roy King.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dennis Martin officiating.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4:00pm and 6 to 8:00pm on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery.
