

She was born on November 8, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late James Brown Davis and the late Mary Ann Cowan. Susan worked as a secretary for the State of Georgia for 34 years and was a former member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister and would not hesitate to help anyone. She loved to cross-stitch, and enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, Cherish Teddy Bears, and salt shakers. She enjoyed walking and riding her bicycle and loved her cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Brown Davis III.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, William Charles Watts, Jr.; son, Ben Watts (Katie); sisters, Kathleen Gion of Ashland, Ohio, and Lenna Moore (Harry) of Fairburn, Georgia; granddaughter, Harriet Watts; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service in Rosehaven Memorial Park.
