Mrs. Sarah Inez Hardeman, age 91, of Douglasville, Ga passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018. She was born on April 20, 1927 in Chickamauga, Ga. she was a member of Heritage Baptist in Douglasville where she loved the Lord and served Him faithfully.
Inez was devoted to her family. She often expressed to her family “you are my reason for living”. She was known for being an incredible cook. One of her greatest joys was preparing dinner for her family and having them gather around her table.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Homer H. Hardeman; beloved son, Stephen Anthony Hardeman; parents, William and Ola Broome; as well as brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her “son and daughter” Phil and Vicki Joiner of Newnan, beloved grandchildren Steveanna Brown of Newnan, Sarah Nicole Hardeman-Taylor and husband/“grandson” Justin, Sarah Hardeman of Newnan, Caden Smith of Newnan, and the “little boys” Jack and Jace Brown of Newnan, brother Tommy and Margie (wife) Broome of Summerville, her beloved dog Maui, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family, friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 11 until 12 o’clock pm. According to Mrs. Hardeman’s wishes, a graveside service will immediately follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Deacon Billy Mayfield officiating.
