Ms. Pamela Jo “PJ” Barnes, age 72, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away at home on Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 1, 1949. PJ is remembered as woman with a sharp mind, having to hold the center of attention, an entrepreneur and someone that could do it all. She met and fell in love with her late husband, Bruce, in the restaurant industry. Over their years together, she and Bruce owned and operated several restaurants, including Mister B’s Steakhouse.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bruce Barnes; and her parents, Elbert Dean Mackey and Joan Morris.
Survivors include her only son, Chad (Alicia) Schoening; brother, Darryl Mackey; sisters, Sandy Dicks and Kristi Garrett; grandson, Xavier Nienaber; and numerous other loved ones and friends.
