She was born on August 26, 1952, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Dennis Sayball and the late Rita Bell and spent most of her formative years in Fairfield, Ct. Kathy was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School and began her clerical career at UI Bridgeport before dedicating years of service to the Stratford Library. In 2008, Kathy returned to Southern Life and made her home in Douglas County, GA.
Kathy loved reading, chocolate, eating out, and watching wrestling matches… her favorite wrestler was The Undertaker! She loved tending to her garden, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was retired from the Dog River Public Library as a Librarian.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward J. Golding, Jr.; sons: Edward J. Golding, III (Lucia); and Troy Golding (Pam); daughter: Michelle A. Golding; sisters: Diana Sayball Memmolo and Denise Sayball Henson; grandchildren: Nicholas, Alec, Kaylee, Troy Jr, Marcus, Seletta, Ruben, and Jacob.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and services will be announced at a later date.
