He was born in West Valley City Utah on August 9,1964 to Raymond Leon Clift and Mary Elizabeth Blue Clift. He went on to attend Monroe Elementary school, West Lake Jr High, and graduated from Granger High School in 1982. After high school he worked at EFB Freight before eventually moving to Georgia, working at Lance Oil for 24 years.
Edward Clift welcomed a daughter, Candace on September 25, 1991.
Edward enjoyed woodworking, riding motorcycles and ATVs in his spare time, but most of all he enjoyed being a Gah to his 9 grandchildren with his Wife, Denise Clift.
Edward is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Clift, grandparents Francis( Bud) and Dorothy Clift and Ted and Emilia Blue.
Ed is survived and will be very missed by his wife Denise Clift, mother Mary Clift, children Frankie and Nikole Barker, Bobby Barker and Terrance Sheats, Ronald and Destiney Wright, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Avery, Judith, Dominic, Briair, Barrett, and Emersyn Barker and Aubrey, Sage, and Parker Wright. He also leaves to mourn him, his brother Carl and wife Shonna, niece Torrie and husband Tyler Whatcott, Great Nieces Madisyn, Emeri, Abby and great Nephew Austin, Nephew Randy Clift and wife Natalie and great Nephew Cameron. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at Valley View Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
A Celebration of life will be held in Utah as well as in Georgia. Details to come.
