Donna Webb

Ms. Donna Marie Webb, age 70, of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019. A native of Douglas County, Donna was born in Douglasville on March 29, 1948. She grew up in Douglasville and was a 1966 Graduate of Douglas County High School. Donna was the first female ever recruited for Lieutenant in the Douglas County Sherriff’s Department. She served as a Detective for a short time, attended Mandate School, then served Douglas County as Lieutenant for 25 years. Donna was very independent, adventurous and loved camping. Donna was a very loving person, and as a single mom, she was devoted to her family, making many sacrifices for her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansel and Marie (Camp) Webb.

Donna is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Florence and his wife, Kimberly; a granddaughter, Nicolette Florence; many cousins, as well as numerous other loved ones and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
