Donald Richard Butler

Donald “Don” Richard Butler, Jr., age 69, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023. He was born June 9, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia. Don was a Veteran, having proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was very easy going and would help anyone in need. Don enjoyed dancing and going to concerts. He loved sports, especially football, baseball and tennis. He enjoyed the Atlanta Braves games and watching Georgia Bulldogs football – Go Dawgs!! Don loved the racetrack and was an avid NASCAR fan. Dale Earnhardt was his favorite driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Richard and Mary Francis (Waldrop) Butler, Sr.; brothers, David Ray Butler and Lamar Butler; and sister, Patty Butler Ingram.

Those left to cherish his memory are brother, Johnny Butler; sister, Delores Butler O’Quinn (Brent); brother-in-law, Mike Ingram; sister-in-law, Debbie Butler; numerous nieces and nephews, Mark Brown, Christy Brown Hirby, Steven Brown, Donny Butler, Daniel Butler, Brandy Butler Barfied, Jared Butler, Melissa Justin, Keith Ingram, Mary Ingram; as well as numerous other extended family members. A special thank you to Cousin Billy Kimball for all you have done.
