Mr. Bobby Eugene Newborn, age 82, of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. A native of Douglasville, GA he was born on April 27, 1934. He enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, and was an avid Braves fan. Mr. Newborn enjoyed family gatherings for holidays and talking with people. He loved going to singings and was known for his big, kind heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos B. and Sadie Aurora Newborn; three sisters, Floy Newborn, Lucille McGouirk and Mary Katherine Jacobs; and two brothers, Amos “Doc” Newborn, Jr. and Tom William “Bill” Newborn.
Mr. Newborn is survived by his brothers, James and Jackie Newborn.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 4 until 5 o’clock. A memorial service will follow at 5 o’clock in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Brad Fain officiating.
