Stella Alleman Ourso

Stella was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She adored her family and was very connected and involved with everyone she met. Stella was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She assisted with several church functions, health fairs, and was involved in The Pink Ladies at Prevost Hospital for over thirty years. Stella was an avid reader who enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, planting flowers, and gardening.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children, Ann Payne (Gene), Marilyn Kossack (Howard), Roland Ourso (Shelley), and Robin Shultz (Steve); ten grandchildren, Christian, Jennifer, Kimberly, Alison, Michael, Blake, Alyssa, Ryan, Maegan, and Elizabeth; twenty great grandchildren; one sister, Della Hernandez; one sister-in-law, Eveline Rousseau Alleman and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Ourso; one son, Aaron Ourso; two great grandchildren, Bradley and Bentley Williamson; parents, Veleor and Della Alleman and six siblings.

Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. The family is grateful for the kindness and love that has been shown to them during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, LA, from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
