Mark was born November 9, 1960 in Pierre Part to Marina Landry Aucoin and the late Gilday Joseph Aucoin, Sr. He has worked with PSC Group at CF for over 35 years and was an asset to his company and his fellow coworkers. Outside of his work, Mark spent his time outdoors. Nina spoke of how much he enjoyed taking care of his yard and cutting the grass. Another of his favorite pastimes was fishing. Mark spent many fun days with the boys casting a line at Belle River and Lake Verret. He was also a huge music fan and followed the likes of Charlie Wilson, Gap Band, Usher and KISS. He and Nina attended some very memorable concerts and made memories to last a lifetime.
Above all, Mark leaves a legacy of love and devotion to his family and will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 43 years, Nina Luna Aucoin; his sons whom he loved dearly, Bryce Joseph Aucoin and wife Joelle and Taner Matthew Aucoin; his mother, Marina Landry Aucoin; and his sister and brother, Kathy Edwards and husband Mike and Gilday Aucoin, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilday Aucoin, Sr.
Pallbearers will be members of the family and close friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ourso Funeral Home of Donaldsonville on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 8:30 am until 10:30 am dismissal with A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose. Following the mass, Mark will be laid to rest at St. Jules Cemetery.
