Deanna Copous Gremillion

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Deanna loved her family and was most passionate about her grandkids and great grandkids. In her past time she enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, and playing with her dog Daisy.

Deanna leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of fifty eight years, Oliver Gremillion; five children, Bobby Downs (Terry), Dwight Gremillion (Mel), Glen Gremillion, Theresa Green (Donnie), and Kathy Gremillion (James); thirteen grandchildren, Chris, Misty, Ashley (Zach), Rebecca, Chelsie, Megan, Bryce, Cameron, Julia, Joshua, Maranda, Carlie, and Garon; twelve great grandchildren, Jacob, Rylee, Rowdy, Maddixx, Noah, Bryce, Obree' Anna, O'Lana, Isaiah, Maddox, Christian and Bryson, and one sister, Pat Brigance (Doug).

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Gremillion Boudoin; parents, Collis Copous and Esther Downs (John Sr.), and five siblings, Vernon Copous, Sonny Copous, Denita Eddington, John Downs Jr., and Valerie Downs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank The Carpenter House for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
