Mr. Charles L Chappell

Charles is survived by his brothers, Douglas, Curtis, and Jack Chappell; his sisters, Lorene Burgess, Patricia Billiot, and Jean Hayes; sister-in-law, Therese Hue; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife, Mary Marroy Chappell; mother and father, Eula and Buford Chappell, Sr.; brothers, Buford Jr., Jesse and Bartley Chappell; and sisters, Mildred Rigdon and Norma Lloyd. Also preceded in death by in laws, Bessie (Herbert) Giroir, Mildred (Ernest) Rivere, Nora Mae (O'Neil) Theriot, Allie (Howard) Jeansonne, Beatrice (Luke Sr.) Giroir, "CJ" (Shirley) Marroy, and Kenneth (Lorraine) Marroy, Sidney Hue, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care of "Uncle Charlie" during his years at the home. Special thanks go out to Cathy Adams who adopted Uncle Charlie as one of her own family members.

A Memorial Mass for Charlie will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. Following services, a graveside will take place in the church cemetery.
