After a long and brave battle with ovarian cancer, Barbara passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022, surrounded by her family. Barbara was a loving wife to Jay, beloved mother to Rebecca and Matthew and mother-in-law to Michael and Jackie, adoring grandma to Natalie, and devoted sister to Ron. Barbara spent her life helping young children and their families as an elementary school social worker in Bethpage.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which is where Barbara was treated during her illness.
