On Sunday, October 30, 2022, Wayne Stanley Comeau was embraced by our Lord and left his earthly home for his heavenly home. After enjoying a beautiful autumn day at home, Wayne left peacefully and without struggle.
Wayne was happily married to the love of his life, Nora, for fifty-three years. Together they designed and built their dream home, making many happy memories with family and friends over the years.
Wayne was a carpenter, a contractor, a fisherman, and a farmer. He was a natural gardener, and enjoyed watching his garden grow. He loved to generously share the abundance of the fruits of his labours.
Wayne was the president of the Marshland Body and the president of the Canadian Cattleman's Association.
Wayne had an active prayer life and a close relationship with his God. He was an active Catholic Christian, a long-time active member of the Catholic Cursillo Movement and belonged to a Catholic Cursillo prayer group. He belonged to an interdenominational men's fellowship group, and was committed to saving precious lives through his dedicated activism in the Pro-Life movement.
Wayne leaves behind his wife Nora; two sons-of-his-heart, Rodney and David Wright; and his siblings Wendell Comeau, Brenda Matthews, Debbie Raven (deceased), Wendy Keldson, Philip Manzer, Cheryl O'Neil, Linda Vickery, David Russell, and Richie Anderson.
