MacDonald, Thomas Joseph – 62, passed away quietly at home Friday, June 1st, 2012. Born in Halifax at the home of a guardian angel, Tom was a son of the late Ernest and Elsie Gaudet. He grew up in Weymouth and lived there his entire life. Tom was well known by everyone, he always had a smile and joke ready to tell at all times. He kept in touch with everyone he knew and worked hard to be a help to anyone in need. He gave whatever he could of himself, asking nothing in return. Tom lived a simple life with simple pleasures and treasured time with friends and family. He had a true community spirit and will be missed by all who knew him. Tom is survived by sisters, Audrey MacDonald; Liz DeWolfe; Phyllis Dugas; Carol Weatherbee; Julie Boudreau also many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by brother, Gordon Gaudet. A memorial Service will be 6pm Wednesday June 13th in Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Interment in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Weymouth.
