Theresa "Elaine" Thibault

THIBAULT, Theresa “Elaine”, age 84, of Marshalltown, NS, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Bloomfield, NS, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Comeau.

Elaine loved to cook, her specialties were homemade bread, pies and rappure. She absolutely loved bingo! She also liked to read and watch her game shows on TV, liked playing cards, crokinole and rumoli. Elaine will be remembered for her kindness and selflessness, always taking care of others before herself, including caring for her husband Vic for 24 years, in which she took great pride. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Mark) Simms; sons, Michael (Heather) Thibault, Victor Thibault (Cathy Barron), Clark Thibault; sister, Murial Wilson; brother, Frankie Comeau; grandchildren, Tara Elaine (Eric) Burdock, Joshua Isaac MacWilliams and Alexander Marcus Simms (Rebecca Richards.) Besides her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Victor Thibault; brothers, Herbert Comeau, Clarence Comeau; sisters, Marguerite Mazier, Annie Hutchinson and Evelyn Comeau.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 2-4pm. A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2pm from St. Pat’s Church, Father Raymond presiding. Burial to follow in Madonna Cemetery, where Elaine and Victor will be laid to rest together.
