Grace, Shirley Gertrude, age 85 of Digby peacefully passed away May 1, 2020 at the Annapolis Nursing Home. Shirley was a retired School Teacher, member of the Catholic Women’s League, worked at Digby Hospital and a choir member for many years.
She is survived by her husband Gordon of 64 years, a son Michael (Judy) of Fall River, daughter Joanne (David) Elmira, Ontario. Two granddaughters Terilynn (Elmira, ON), Melissa (Chad) of Kitchener, ON. One grandson Brad (Mel) of Millet, Alberta and three beautiful great grandchildren, Ethan, Saydee and Kamryn.
Funeral service to be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Digby on August 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Beni D’Entremont presiding. Interment to take place Aug 16, 2021 at 2 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Middle Sackville. Donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to a charity of choice.
