Mullen, Lorna Faye 71, Digby passed away November 14, 2014 at home. Born June 20, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Harold and Christina Theriault. Lorna was the eldest of nine children. As a girl she was known as the “ best trawl baiter” in East Ferry. She attended St. Pat’s Business College, fell in love with Aiden, and raised four children. She worked for the Digby office of the Human Rights Commission, co- owned the Fundy Restaurant, and fought a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Lorna lived with fierce determination and much joy and has been a great inspiration to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her husband Aiden, daughters Christina (Robert), Melissa (Robert) ; sons Jeffrey (Tammy) , Jason (Jane); sisters Eleanor, Judy, Laurana, Esther, Becky, Jackie; brothers Harold Jr.,and Bruce; grandchildren Jesse, Max, Sean, Kiah- Jade, Sophie, Alena, Joshua, Julia many, many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Lorna’s life will be held by her family at 11am on Friday, November 21 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby with interment in Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown. Donations in her memory can be made to the M. S. Society of Canada.
