On September 15, 2021, at the age of 59 Judith “Judy” Reyno left this world surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with lung cancer. Judy was a remarkable mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Judy was born to Duane (deceased) and Dorothy Kenley on October 24th, 1961 in St. Louis, MO. She grew up in Digby, NS with her siblings Delbert Kenley (Marlene), Dean Kenley (Nancy), Kim Thibaudeau (Christian) and Tom Kenley.
Judy married and had two children, Tyler and Jordan, who she raised with complete love and dedication. Per her words, the successful raising of her sons was her greatest achievement.
Judy was creative, ambitious, and well-rounded. Her sense of humor was unique and infectious. Even until the end, she enlightened those around her with her jokes, stubbornness, and resilience. She took great pride in her family, and in the pursuing of her various business interests, which included hairstyling, wedding planning as well as an Insurance advisor with SK Agencies of Halifax. Judy’s salon customers were very devoted due to the quality of her services and the positive energy she manifested within her salon. Her home in Lower Sackville, NS, was the site of many wonderful moments among friends and family members.
She wished to share her deepest gratitude for the doctors and nurses who supported her until the very end at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, NS; those tremendous care workers helped her find greater ease and comfort during her final days.
As per Judy’s request, a private family service is scheduled in Digby Co.,NS.
