Joyce Vivian Mullen Ford

Ford, Joyce Vivian, of Danvers passed away Thursday March 14th, 2013 in Digby General Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Hassetts, she was a daughter of the late, Percy and Minnie (Lewis) Mullen. Joyce was a wonderful mother and took pride raising her daughters on her own after the passing of her husband Francis at a young age. She also enjoyed quilting and spending time in the kitchen. Joyce is survived by daughters, Rhoda (Peter) Gaudet, Danvers; Johann (Harold) McBurnie, Digby; sister, Harriet Sabean, Hassetts; grandchildren, Dale (Colin) Amero, Calgary; Valerie (Willie) Doucette, Meteghan; Tania Gaudet, Havelock; Melanie (Jason Comeau) Gaudet, Cornwallis, great grandchildren, Alexander, Madison, Jorja, Danica and Johnny, also many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband, Francis Ford, infant daughter, Mariam, four sisters and six brothers. Visitation will be Sunday March 17th from 2-4pm in the Havelock Wesleyan Church also where the Funeral Service will be at 2pm, Monday March 18th. Pastor Peter Hayes presiding.
