Belonie “Ben” Joseph Thibodeau, age 83 of Marshalltown passed away October 13th, 2023 at Digby General Hospital. Born in Saulnierville Station he was a son of the late Sylvone and Josephine (Saulnier) Thibodeau.
Ben was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, a family man through and through. A hard worker and a lover of the outdoors; one of his favorite pastimes was to go fishing. Ben especially enjoyed the time he spent on the family’s hobby farm raising animals such as cows and chickens. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
Ben is survived by his wife, Jean (Amero) Thibodeau; daughter Jen; son, Robert (Lisa); grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Friday and August as well as his niece Carmel.
Cremation has taken pace under the care of Jaynes Funeral home, a private family burial will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Amanda Thibault for the wonderful care she provided to Ben.
