John Ronald Amero – Age 52 of Digby, passed away September 11th, 2015 in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, John was the youngest of five children to the late Ronald and Lucy (Melanson) Amero. He liked gardening, picking berries, hunting, fishing, playing cards, ring toss, darts and watching hockey with his friends, he was a Montreal Canadian fan. John is survived by son, Shawn Amero; brothers, Donald (Susan), Jeffrey, Joseph (Angela), grandson, Kallum Amero; brother in-law, Gary Murphy, several nieces, nephews and special friend, Amanda. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Debra Murphy. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be at 11am, Friday September 18th from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (902-245-2525). Interment in Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown.
