Cindy, I am having a hard time seeing your name next to the word obituary.  How can I accept you not being here. how do we celebrate achievements and birthdays without you.  You were my friend, my buddy, a confidant.  Our memories are ours and some you took with you.  This summer we will go to the Cornwallis beach, where you enjoyed gathering your friends and family together.  There we will once again say goodbye.  I will miss you,. Love Always, Wendy 

Cindy was always very cheerful when we crossed paths, even when she was at work.  Between her charitable works and beautiful smile and demeanor, she made a huge difference in our world!

If I close my eyes I can still see Cindy walking up to the store from her apartment at Purdy's.   She has on her long black coat and a bright blue scarf.    I can see her leaning against the counter talking for hours about stories and Christmas!   That is what mom (Lois Kennedy) and I will remember.   We wouldn't trade those memories for anything. My deepest condolences to all the family.   I had the privilege of working with Cindy at Canadian Tire and The Call Centre.  We always had fun, she was always happy and joking around.  I have had the honor of going to her house for girls get togethers!  She always came over to talk to me at the Super store, she would say," Hey Mely belly!" Lol. Cindy was a wonderful, kind, gentle, fun loving soul.  I will always cherish the summer I spent working in Cornwallis as a student when she welcomed me with open arms and showed me the ropes of south shore living.  She was so generous, funny, and always up for an adventure.  Her, Bridget Smith and I were inseparable all that summer and I couldn't imagine it any other way.  I sincerely believe that the world was fortunate to have Cindy for the time that it did.  Her infectious smile and memories will undoubtedly go on living through all those who were fortunate to have known and loved her. Ive known cindy for almost 10 years.  My step mother introduced us to cindy as one of her good friends . I remember , every weekend me and my sisters were at our fathers we would do some kind of outing as a family and cindy would always be there with us . We would go to beaches ..walks you name it . She was such a kind soul , always smiling no matter what . Its hard to believe i was just speaking with her the other day making plans with her to meet my other 2 children . ( she met my first child when he was a baby)

I remember pairing up with Cindy to sing.  At Christmas Daddies when we were both in our late 20's, we sang on the radio together.  After we left the venue, the radio station was swamped with telephone calls for us to do another song.  I remember her smile, from ear to ear, she was so proud that she could help in whatever way she could and that people enjoyed her talent.  She was part of my life and I will miss her.   At the time those many years ago, there was no better friend.   Rest in peace, Cindy.

I had the pleasure of working alongside of Cindy over the course of many years with Christmas Daddies. She was a kind soul with a deep passion and was always willing to go up on stage and fill in at any moment.
