Joseph Esper

Joseph Esper passed away at the age of 65, in his home on May 22, 2010 in Dexter, Michigan. Son of Joseph Peter Esper and his wife Helen Joyce (Pennington) Esper. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Terry (Evinger) Esper of 42 years. He loved his family and that is something that was most important to him.

He is survived by his wife and children; Stacy Priebe, Toni (John) Bigley, Terri (Marvin) Rice, Bill (Judy) Esper, Toni Esper, Nicole (Kristoper) Smith, and Danielle Esper. He has nine grandchildren; Chelsey Esper, Mallory Esper, Hailey Esper, Natasha Esper, Mason Smith, Joseph Smith, Serenity Rayne Smith, Chloe Lee, Kaitlyn Rice. He is survived by his siblings; James (Linda) Esper , Jerold (Theresa) Esper and Angel (Christopher) Pena. He was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister Jill Reynolds.

Joseph loved the outdoors hunting (deer and turkey), golfing and fishing. Joseph had many jobs. He was an auto mechanic for cars and large trucks. He was employed at Malloy Lithographing for 30 years, until he retired in 2006.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26th. 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00pm and Thursday, May 27th. 10:00 until the time of service at 11:00am at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel (3410 Broad St., Dexter). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made under his name to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Dexter Michigan. You can use the website or envelopes at the funeral home.
