Daniel Owen Evanski

Daniel Owen Evanski, age 61, of Dexter, MI. passed away peacefully on June 15, 2010 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Dan was a crane operator for Ford Motor Company at the Rawsonville Plant for 40 years. In his spare time Dan loved to fish, hunt and snowmobile in the U.P. with his sons and friends. He also enjoyed traveling and exploring the wilderness. Dan is survived by his wife Susan, children: Daniel, David and Kimberly, siblings: Robert (Carol), Sandy (David) Klipp, Trudy (Paul) Roddick, Dorie (Gary) Hawkins, Debbie (Leonard) Butzin, Steve, Tricia (Reed) Jarrell, Charles, and Jerry (Mary). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Gertrude. Family and friends will miss his corn roasts and legendary laugh.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010, 1:00 – 8:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm at Hosmer Muehlig Funeral Chapel (3410 Broad St.). The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 10:00am with visiting from 9:00am until time of service at St. Joseph Catholic Village Church, Dexter (corner of 4th and Dover). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dexter Touchdown Club or Dexter Knights of Columbus.
