Wanda Ruth Ritter

Wanda Ruth Ritter passed away on November 7, 2015 at the age of 85. Wanda was born May 20, 1930 in Grayling, MI to Carl August and Mabel Almeda (Eckler) Doroh. Wanda was employed by the State of Michigan, Secretary of State for 23 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Redeemer United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed camping, knitting, crocheting and word search puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; her parents; and son-in-law, Jim Glisson. She is survived by her daughter Claudia Glisson of Lansing; son Craig (Eveline) Ritter of St. Johns; four grandchildren, Sarah Glisson, Erin (Nick Sachjen) Glisson, Chad Ritter and Brett (Jackie Cross) Ritter and great-grandson Ethan Glisson. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI with Pastor Chris McNeilly officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 5-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
