Solomon L. Steadman II, 56 passed away peacefully at home on July 18th 2018 in DeWitt, Michigan after battling long term illnesses. Sol or “Sollie” as many of his family and friends called him, is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Krin Steadman, his two children, Kyle (Brandon) Anderson and Karisa Anderson; father, Solomon (Sharon) Steadman Sr.; sister, Kris (Scott) Harwell; brother, John (Michelle) Galvin; ex- step-mother, Nancy Steadman as well as his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Steadman. Sollie also leaves behind his much loved dogs Noah and Levi, along with his three cats, Blue, Coal, and Kitten. Solomon was also known for his passions of singing and of going to sporting events like baseball, basketball, hockey, and football: a true Spartan fan at heart. Sol also worked a great many years in sales. He was a long time member of his Christian Men's Bible study groups, Sonrose and Bulls, which gave Sol much comfort and support over the past several years of his life. As well he was shown much love and biblical guidance by his friend and brother in Christ, Loren Nelson. Sollie was a very loved and adored husband, friend, brother, and mentor himself and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will take place on September 16th at 3 pm in celebration of his life at the Lansing Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5400 W. St. Joe Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917.
