Ruth Marie Lowe

She was a laundress for Baryames Cleaners.

Ruth enjoyed reading and camping. She had a gentle nature. She was friendly and cherished/loved her family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lowe Sr.; son, Richard Lowe; brother, John Hafelein; and brother-in-law, Jack Wiswasser. Surviving are her sons, Russell Lowe Jr. (Lisa) of St. Johns, MI, Ronald Lowe (Sharon) of Interlochen, MI, Robert Lowe (Mary Ellen) of Charlotte, MI, and Ray Lowe (Jennifer) of Arizona; step-daughters, Jeannine (Larry) Ames of Remus, MI, and Deborah Lowe of Newport, WA; sister, Beverly (George) Helbig; sisters-in-law, Sue Hafelein, and Pat Wiswasser; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Rita Tarrant; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also survived by close friends from work, Hilda, Sallie, and Hope.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 12 noon at Gorsline Runciman DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St. Pastor Tom VanDyke will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m.

Inurnment will be at Reed Cemetery.
