I just recently heard of Bob's passing.  I am so sorry for all of his family.  Unfortunately, I haven't been in contact with Bob for a number of years; but I still remember him as one of my favorite cousins; and almost like a twin as we graduated from the same high school; the same year.  He was a special man and I was so pleased to hear that he left a rather large family behind to honor his memory.

I met Bob in 1983 while he was helping our company set up a new computer system.  We spent many late nights tweaking and re-tweaking the system.  Bob was always upbeat and very tolerant of our changing ways.  I know from many conversations how devoted he was to his entire family.  He could never say enough good things about them, especially his wife Jan.  Like everyone else who knew Bod , he will be greatly missed but not never forgotten.

I am so sorry to read of Bobs passing. Although I had not seen him in some time, I still considered him a true friend. He did so many things for me that I will never forget.

I was sadden to read of Bob's passing, I first met Bob on the M.S.U. campus during one of his many walks. I would chat a bit with him and liked his view of life. Turns out through our talks ; I had found out that he had worked at Oldsmobile, during the 60's and 70's . I also found out that he had worked  with my father in data processing, 
and was a member of the "Oldsmobile  Retires Club" which brought a smile to his face and many great a great story of the people he worked with through out the years.
Bob will be missed by many, but not forgotten.

I met “Griff” when I interned at Oldsmobile while in college and when I was hired upon graduation.  Bob helped me learn how things worked in the real world.  He was very generous with his time, knowledge, and good humor.  I am saddened to hear of his passing.  He was truly a fine man who served his country, family, and co-workers.  



I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing.  I had a brief opportunity to work with him at Oldsmobile in Data Processing and remember a man with a  gruff exterior that hid a heart of gold and a brilliant mind.  He had a thankless job as a systems programmer, keeping everything running in the background even though it meant a lot of nights and weekends away from you.  

He earned the respect of many people.  He will be missed.  Thanks for sharing him with us.  May God be with you all.

My Sirrine family is so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.  He was very close to our brother, Lee, who passed last March. I remember Bob's big smile and robust laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Much love.


So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob in the MSU Administrative Information Services department for many years. He always had a word to say, even if it was just "How is Kelli today?" Being the person who took a lot of pictures in our department I can tell you that Bob did not like his picture taken, which is why I am sharing this picture. We had a great laugh over that moment. Rest in peace Bob. You've done great work on this earth. Prayers of comfort to the family.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Bob, who I will always fondly remember as Griff. I worked with Griff at MSU / AIS for several years and we would have some lively conversations about "the politics and procedures" of AIS and MSU.  Prayers to the family.

I know he had suffered alot the last few years and Jan, your love, devotion and care for him is totally admired. He had the most beautiful smile and was always so kind. I worked with Grff for many years at Oldsmobile before EDS came along and he left for MSU to finish out his career. I too was in the
US Air Force as a staff sergeant, before working at Oldsmobile. We
continued to keep in touch over the years thru monthly lunches
at Tony M's and I even visited Jan &  Griff at their campsite in
Pentwater,  a couple of times.  My condolences to Jan & the rest
of the family.
He will be greatly missed.

My name is Bill Andrews. I worked with Bob for many yean in Data Processing at Oldsmobile Lansing.
So sorry to hear of his passing. After EDS came into the picture we parted ways. He went to MSU and I ended up in Auburn Hills EDS where I retired. Always enjoyed working with him and always thought about him when I was going down Airport road.
My thoughts are with his family at this time.
