Nancy was born on Aug. 10, 1940. She married Sherman “Ed” Andrus in 1968. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Nancy was a skilled artist with a true talent for all things crafty. She loved to fire and paint her own ceramics. She was an especially talented crocheter, making many intricate blankets for her family over the years. She also loved to dance, particularly to any Elvis hit.
She is survived by her husband Ed Andrus of Lansing; children Rod (Kim) Andrus of DeWitt, Sue (Rich) Clark of Marysville and John Patterson; grandchildren Abby, Nick, Morgan, Rodney Jr., Mitchell, and David. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Alaniz, and her sister Shirley Creech.
A viewing will be held Saturday, July 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in DeWitt, 205 E Washington, DeWitt, MI 48820. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.
