Joan Evelyn Prince

She was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 29, 1930 and grew up in Lansing. She married her beloved husband Ronald on March 4, 1951 and together they raised three children. As a family they enjoyed summer vacations including camping along Lake Michigan, and trips to Wyoming and Montana. She was a meticulous homemaker who enjoyed refinishing furniture, decorating, and shopping for bargains at local stores.

She was preceded in death by her husband of of 67 years, Ronald who passed away in 2018, parents, Reva and Earl Kindel, and sister Vida Fenton. She is survived by her brother Duane (Leslie), sister Janice, daughter Patricia Prince, sons Michael (Deborah) Prince and John (Wendy) Prince, and grandchildren Robert, Benjamin, Erin, and Madeline Prince, Matthew Osborn, and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of Hazel Findlay Country Manor Nursing Home in St. John’s for their compassionate care.

A private memorial will be planned at a later date.
