Carolyn Jean Verhaeghe, 69, born to Julian and Betty (Hogan) Hulbert, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014. She was preceeded in death by her father. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Stuart; her daughter, Debbie (Randy) Bellant, of Lansing, son Scott Reed of Lansing; mother, Betty Hulbert of East Lansing; sisters, Janice (Dale) Dezess of Lansing and Barbara (David) Walker of Haslett; 3 grandchildren, Ashley and Adam Bellant of New Orleans and Kristen Reed of Lansing; and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was tremendously loved by family and friends and will be truly missed.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. at Fire Mountain Grill, 730 Elmwood Rd., Lansing, MI.
In lieu of flowers, it was Carolyn’s wish that donations be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 West Grand River Avenue, Lansing, MI 48906, to honor her and her great love of dogs.
