Robert George Conner, 76 of Lake Villa, formerly of Des Plaines was born on June 6, 1946 to the late Chester and Lois (nee Budill) Conner and passed away August 17, 2022. Robert was the beloved husband to Barbara (nee Parison) for 54 years; loving father to Jonathan (Michelle) Conner, Matthew (Helen) Conner, and Elizabeth (Blayne) Prassel; cherished grandfather to Hunter Conner, Alyssa Conner, Haley Williams-Conner, Maddox Williams-Conner, Trey Prassel, and Olivia Prassel; dear brother to Paul Conner and Jane Jameson; and fond uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL 60016. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Oehler Funeral Home. Interment will be at Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, 9851 Irving Park Rd. Schiller Park, IL 60176.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that a donation be made in Roberts name to Vietnam Veterans of America or the American Cancer Society toward pancreatic cancer.
