Mary M. Nierzwicki

Mary M. Nierzwicki, 89 of Park Ridge was born on September 30, 1931 in Chicago and passed away on June 11, 2021. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Nierzwicki for 64 years; loving mother to Raymond (Jean) Nierzwicki, Robert (Renee) Nierzwicki, Kathy Nierzwicki, Richard (Dee) Nierzwicki, and Ronald (Peggy) Nierzwicki; dear mother-in-law to the late Diane Nierzwicki; adored grandmother to Jennifer (Tony) Canzoneri, John (Katie) Nierzwicki, Jeffrey (Brittany) Nierzwicki, Robert (Emily) Nierzwicki, Gina (John) Tourtelot, Joseph (Krystina) Nierzwicki, Teresa (David) Pollitz, Daniel (Logan) Nierzwicki, Stephen Nierzwicki, Alyse Nierzwicki, Katie (James) Tieken, Stephanie Nierzwicki, Maureen (Mike) Gunther, and Bridget Nierzwicki and fond great-grandmother to 15 and counting great-grandchildren.

Mary was very involved in the church and served as president of St. Veronica’s and Our Lady of Ransom’s Women’s Club as well as the Eucharistic Minister of Care. In her spare time she enjoyed volunteering for different organizations including meals on wheels and many others. She will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 16 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL 60016. Prayers will be said Thursday, June 17 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to Our Lady of Ransom, 8300 N. Greenwood Ave. Niles, IL 60714, for mass at 10 AM.
