Elizabeth J. "Betty" Clarke

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Clarke, a long time resident of Park Ridge, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017 in her home. She leaves her husband of 61 years, John "Jack" Clarke; son, William (Valeria) Schiemann; daughter, Judy (Ron) Walczak; three grandchildren, Anton, Lindsay and Alexander (Samantha) Walczak and sister, Claire Schultz, along with many other loved ones. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, eating at her favorite restaurant, Palm Court, attending shows at the Marriott Theatre, filling out crossword puzzles in the newspaper and watching favorite television shows and movies. She had a smile that could light up a room, wore leopard print any chance she could get and left her favorite peach lipstick on loved one's cheeks. Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2017 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street in Des Plaines. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 22, at 10:00 AM at Oehler Funeral Home. Interment will be at Ridgewood Memorial Park in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Elizabeth to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
