Donald Raymond Fick, 87, of Lake Zurich, Illinois was born March 30,1935, in Chicago to the late Otto Fick and Sophie Fick (nee Papie) and passed away on December 20, 2022.
Donald was the beloved husband of the late Vivian June Fick (nee Stoltz) for 56 years; the loving father of April (Craig) Matter and Nancy (David) Lynn; cherished grandfather of Samantha and Rebecca Matter and Nicolas Tow; step-grandfather of Rachel (Eric) Tracy, Kevin Matter, Cathleen and Robert Lynn; dear brother of the late Robert Fick (Bernadette) and Lois Fick; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Oehler Funeral Home at 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL., 60016 on December 29, 2022 from 11:30 a.m.- 1:15 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:15 p.m. The interment will be at Ridgewood Memorial Park at 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines, IL, 60016.
