Joyce Markham (Fleming) Pullin

Joyce was born July 11, 1925 in Baton Rouge, La. to Conrad and Lois Fleming. She was raised in Orange, Tx. Joyce married Gerald Pullin on February 16, 1946 and later moved to Ragley, La. in 1958.

She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, PTA at Ragley High School and South Beauregard, active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Beauregard Cattleman's Association "Cow Belles,” Beauregard Bicentennial Committee, Beauregard Planning Commission, Elder of First Presbyterian Church, Lake Charles and President of Presbyterian Women.

She is survived by husband of 65 years, Gerald Edward Pullin of Ragley; daughters, Delanie Lois Pullin Cooley, Camella Mae O'Dell (Daniel) and Mary Lee Childress (Eddie) all of Ragley; sister, Gladys Mae Parrish and six grand children, Ariel Lois Cooley, Ryan Daniel O'Dell, Devan Sean O'Dell, Donovn Edward O'Dell, Megan Lee Hamilton and Conrad Ross Hamilton. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Her services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Magnolia Baptist Church of Ragley. Brother Mike Sanford will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Magnolia Baptist church. . Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery.
