David Franklin Knapp, Jr, 68, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 in local hospital.
He was a life resident of DeQuincy and was a carpenter.
David was survived by his daughter, Debbie Sue Knapp; sons, Michael Paul and James Knapp; sisters Mickie Nixon (Bill); Janice Wallace (Charles); Vickie Mitchell (Virgil) and brother Joe Holloway.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. and Anna Knapp; sister Nelda Sue Miller and brother James Lee Holloway.
His funeral will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Hixson Snider Funeral Home. Rev. James Harris of Evergreen Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rigmaiden Cemetery in DeQuincy. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5 until 8 pm on Tuesday and from 9 am on Wednesday.
