Susan Margaret Burns, 91, of Westminster, CO died peacefully in her sleep September 23, 2013. She was born June 5, 1922 in Toledo, OH and is predeceased by her parents and her late husband; George Burns.
Susan graduated from Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science. She was proud to work as an employee of United Airlines for over 30 years.
Susan is survived by her children and their spouses: Margaret Brown (Jim Horn), of Westminster, CO; Richard (Kate) Burns, of Philadelphia, PA; and Jean (Bruce) Deets, of Westminster, CO. Granny is also survived by six loving grandchildren and six loving great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marilyn (Sherman) Myers, of Oconomowoc, WI, and their three daughters.
The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, October 12 at 2:00 PM at the Westminster United Methodist Church located at 3585 W. 76th Ave. Westminster, CO 80003.
