Dick was a proud graduate of Gannon University, class of 1964. After completing his education, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Communications Officer aboard the U.S.S. Savage. His military service was a source of great pride for him, and he maintained close connections with his fellow shipmates until his passing.
Following his military service, Dick embarked on a successful career as a management consultant. He worked with Touche Ross (now Deloitte) in Denver, Colorado, where he eventually became a partner and led the consulting practice for over a decade. Later, he served as Executive Vice President of the Genesee Company, a custom homebuilder, until its sale in 2002 to the Lennar Corporation. Dick then returned to consulting until his well-deserved retirement.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dick cherished his time with his family. He is survived by his daughter Kelly Seay, sister Patricia Heinlein, stepson Chris Bittman, stepdaughter Ashley Dabbiere, and his ten adoring grandchildren who called him “Papa”.
Dick was predeceased by his father Frank Geiermann, mother Edna Geiermann, sister Carol Becker, and his loving wife of 30 years, Linda Geiermann. Their memories together will forever be cherished, and they are now reunited, dancing together once again.
In addition to his professional and family life, Dick had a passion for golf as a long-time member at Cherry Hills Country Club, walking the beach, and traveling the world. He loved creating lasting memories with his loved ones and exploring new destinations.
The family will hold a celebration of Dick's life in the summer of 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes support of the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
