Lucas Grady Mallory was born on April 9th, 2022 to Tracey McDonald and Ross Mallory, two ecstatic parents. Luke was born the sweetest, most expressive, and aware boy that Tracey and Ross could have asked for.
All that came across him were impressed with his copious amounts of hair and his ability to track voices in the room. Luke loved being swaddled with his hands poking out, being tucked into nests overnight, and loved snuggling. He was happy to have his stuffed animal friends share his bed, and would frequently be found chomping on his pacifier in his dinosaur-themed room.
Lucas was cared for and comforted by his primary nurse team, and met more doctors, nurses, and support staff than he could ever individually thank.
Lucas fought for 89 days to overcome unexplained liver failure. His fight ended on July 7th, 2022. Luke passed away in his mom’s arms comfortable and without suffering. He leaves behind two loving parents, supportive and dairy queen-bribing grandparents, caring aunts and uncles, and cousins who all wanted to play, teach, and have fun together. He was loved by all who crossed his path.
