Jonah Isaac Olguin, 49, of Aurora, Colorado passed away peacefully at his home, his father's house surrounded by his family and loved ones on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Jonah was born December 18, 1972 to loving parents Jeanette and Manuel Olguin. He was born and raised in Colorado and was one of 3 children.
He grew up and spent his childhood years in the small town of Manzanola, Colorado helping his dad and family care for their Ranch. Jonah loved all sports, but especially baseball, wrestling and football. He spent his high school years being an "All-Around All Star Player." He was a 2-time state champion wrestler.
After Graduating High School Class of 1991, Jonah married his high school sweetheart Johanna Madrid. They raised a family and were married for 27 years. From his marriage he had 4 amazing children Hailey, Nicholas, Noah and Isabella Olguin. Jonah absolutely loved his kids and took so much pride in caring and providing for their every need.
He worked in the Hardwood Floor Industry for 20+ years and was a professional Hardwood Floor expert!
As he got older his love for sports continued to grow as he helped coach and lead both of his son’s baseball teams – The Centennial Prospects. Coaching was one of Jonah’s greatest joys in life. He also really enjoyed watching all kinds of movies and BBQing. He sure was a Grill Master! He was the life of the party always making everyone around him happy and laughing.
Jonah is survived by his loving father Manuel Olguin; older sister Stephanie Olguin and younger brother Thaddeus Olguin; forever loving children Hailey, Nicholas, Noah and Isabellla Olguin. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Jeanette Olguin.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM followed by a reception at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
