Carol Marie (Carpenter) Weber, 94, of Parker, Colorado, passed peacefully into eternal life in the comfort of her own bed on August 21, 2023, just after sunrise. She left this life knowing she was loved and appreciated, with visits, calls, and prayers from loved ones in the days leading up to her passing. A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and friend, Carol's 94 years on this earth were lived fully and totally.
Carol Marie was born on May 27,1929 to Richard and Regina Carpenter in Chicago, IL. She was a joyful child devoted to her family. She met the love of her life, George Nicholas Weber, at a church dance. The two were joined in Holy Matrimony on September 9, 1950 and had a beautiful 63 years together, raising four children and later welcoming nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. They moved their family to Aurora, CO in 1969, where they lived the majority of their married life together.
Carol enjoyed many hobbies and activities, including gardening, swimming, and traveling. She was active in her parish and spent many years bringing Holy Communion to the homebound. Her affinity for shopping and good fashion was rivaled only by her great sweet tooth—both traits which she passed on down the line of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Carol’s greatest joy was found in spending time with her friends and family. Through all of her years, she remained connected to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They all were the delight of her heart; whether it was taking them on trips to the zoo, or hosting the family Christmas, or cheering them on in any of their endeavors, Carol lived for the time she spent with her loved ones. She also maintained many close friendships throughout her whole life, including friends she first made as a young girl. Above all, Carol was deeply devoted to her husband George, and after his passing in 2013, life for her would never be the same. Carol’s strength and perseverance in her last decade of life was admirable and impactful.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Regina and Richard, her husband George, and many close friends and extended family. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her brother Richard Carpenter of Sun City West, AZ; her four children, Janet (Patrick) Connor of Aurora, CO; Gregory (Julia) Weber of Centennial, CO; Andrea (Anthony) McGowan of Parker, CO; Richard Weber of Aurora, CO.; plus Nine Grandchildren, Nicholas (Maria ) Connor, Megan (Jason) McDonald; Joelle (Anthony) Scillia, Emily (Aaron) Lofy; Katherine (Josh) Skinner; Christopher (Cori) Weber, Mary Elizabeth Weber, Bridget Weber, Madeline Weber; and 13 Great Grandchildren: Lucrezia and Alessio Connor; Hailey and Robert McDonald; George, Ella, Oliver and Anastasia Lofy; Genevieve and Briana Scillia; Sophia, Olivia and Luke Skinner.
