Adam Robert Blodgett

Longtime Denver resident, Adam Robert Blodgett, passed away peacefully on February 6th, 2014, from complications of pneumonia. Adam was born on December 28th, 1970, in Pensacola, Florida, to Robert Peter Blodgett and Judith Blodgett. Adam was well traveled and some of the places he was fortunate to live in included California, Oregon, and England. While growing up, one of Adam's passions was skateboarding and if you wondered where he was, he was usually outside perfecting his skateboarding skills. Adam enjoyed writing and listening to all genres of music, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and supporting his Minnesota Vikings.

Adam had a huge heart and was always willing to help complete strangers. He loved his friends and family as well as all kinds of animals. For instance, Adam's household included tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, fish, and dogs. He believed all animals deserved to be loved and wanted to rescue any animals whose living situations were not ideal. Due to his love of animals, Adam graduated in 2006 from Pima's vet tech program and he also attended the first aquarium science program in Newport, Oregon. Adam is preceded in death by his dad, who was his best friend, as well as by his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, his brothers Guy of Denver and Scott (Jen) of Florida, aunts, uncles, and close family friends - Tom Inglima of Denver, Ken and Karen McChesney of Aurora, Gary and Fiona Cahill of Estes Park, Grant (Gena) Cahill of Washington, and Katrina (Craig) Carlson of Estes Park, Colorado, and his dog, King. Adam's loyalty, his infectious smile and laughter will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
