Scott Lynn Curtis passed at home having suffered a sudden heart attack on January 28, 2021. He was a father, brother, son, cousin, uncle and a wonderful friend. Scott was born to Bill and Mary Curtis on July 20, 1967 in Fontana, CA. At a very young age the family moved back to Texas to make it their home. He graduated from Colbert High School in 1985. He then went to work for Seismograph Co. He later moved back and started factory work. He was married, had four boys and later divorced. He decided to make a career of truck driving his father taught and trained him and he said those where some of the best times of his life out on the road with his dad. He did this until about 5 years ago when he became disabled. He then dedicated the final part of his life working as a team with his sister to care for their mother.
Scott had the sweetest heart throughout his whole life. Always known as having the biggest heart and the absolutely best personality. More than his heart, his sense of humor is what everyone knew, loved and will always remember him by. He was always the funniest guy in the room.
He was a man of many talents. He was so artistic. Be it music, metal art, oil paint, leather work or numerous other interests. He was a complete natural; it seemed; at every new thing he tried.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Bill Curtis. He leaves behind four sons, Jayce, Hunter, Chandler and Hayden Curtis who meant more to him than life itself and more than they will ever know or understand. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Mary Curtis, sister and brother in law, Anngee and Shawn Flinn, Brother Kelly Curtis all of Denison Texas, as well as brothers Raymond and Kevin Curtis of Colbert Oklahoma.
He is also survived by 5 nieces, Shawna Flinn, Kelsey Wood, Kristine Curtis, Ashlyn Cowen and KyLee Curtis as well as 2 nephews, Zach Flinn and Daniel Curtis. Along with countless cousins and friends who all loved and adored him.
He will be forever missed.
